Default Creaking noise under hard acceleration

Just replaced my pinion seal (used the method where I marked the pinion nut and counted rotations - absolutely certain that i reinstalled the pinion nut to same position where it was before).

After this job, I noticed that under hard acceleration I get a repetitive creak or groan from the rear end. It almost sounds like going over a warning rumble strip on the side of the highway, but just not as rapid.

Not sure if this has something to do with having reused the pinion nut, or if its something to do with the new diff fluid i put in afterwards (i believe i used mobil 1... not sure what weight off hand, along with a bottle of the limited slip additive from GM). Or maybe its something else entirely...

Any chance this could be something coincidental (bushings i could check or something...?), or do i need to have a pro look at my shoddy work?
