Broke my "posi"?
I noticed when at the track yesterday how inconsistant my traction has been when I launch. I've had a few "dead hooks", but many more times I spin most of the way through first gear. This is on Drag radials. My car is NOT making that much power about 289 RWHP. Anyways I was watching the videos of my runs and I noticed that during my burnouts my left rear tire would suddenly stop and start spinning again. Is my posi going or gone? I could feel something strange like the wheels were taking turns spinning, but I wasn't certain of it. Or could I just be apply the brakes too hard ( no transbrake).

Torsen only splits torque 2:1 and then will spin one.
If static friction (mu-S) is greater than 2X kinetic
friction (mu-K) then only one wheel will spin, you
will not bias enough torque across the chunk to
get the second one loose. This all presuming equal
weight on the tires. But there is also the axle
roll factor which loads and unloads the right tire and
factors into the friction-torque per wheel.

Wow. Thanks for the answer! So what can I do to fix the problem. It appears that Im spinning my back right tire on my launches and its ruining my 60' times. I realize I could probably put some weight there (spare and jack is gone) But would those alone cure it?
Thanks for the help.
