the stock 342's should do fine. heard 3.23-3.73 for the range u wanted to stay in for a nitrous car! 4.11's with 28 inch tires would work too and i dont think u'd have any trouble hooking, ever.

I would most likely go 4.11 also. What springs are you running, what rpms do you shift at and what is the rev limiter set to. Also, what do you want to do with the car. If you are into challenging people on the freeway from a 50-70 roll, stay with 3.73's. If you want the best 1/4 times at a track, figure out what the maximum RPM you want to spin the motor, what tires you will most likely be running, and select a gear that will put you at about that at the end of the 1/4 in 4th gear (of course you will also have to have an idea of about how much HP your car is making, or an idea of what it will run).

I'm running comp 918 springs , I mostly race 1/8 mile tracks and play a little on the street . The car made 368/368 with cam and headers only through 373 gears .. The car ran a 8.40 at 90mph with a 2.10 60ft on bfg drag radials
