My rear end is making a noise that sounds like I have loose bolts in it or something clanking and clacking around inside it at low speed. At high speed it seems ok and does not whine or anything. Also when I peel out somtimes it only leaves one strip and other times it leaves 2 like it should. Does it sound like my posi unit is toast? My car is an A4 with 53k miles and no mods. I put the car on the lift and it looks like the rear has been replaced with some junk yard POS so im not to happy about that. Well any imput would be appreciated, thanks.

I know there are alot of these questions on here but I have searched and have not found this one.

b-cause of the burnout marks i would say your right about your posi....mine makes the same type of noise even when backing up.....time for a new rear
