Well I had pinion bearings go totally stock. Then every one of them seem to develop a pinion seal leak if there driven hard.

I just busted my 10 bolt 8.5 ring in my truck. chipped alot of teeth on the ring and pinion. All I did was a burn out for like 3 full seconds. thats it. Thing is trashed. This just happend on the 4th and im trying to figure out what to stuff in there that wont break the bank, easy to install, and will hold up to about 500ftlbs of torque- i will need it after the engine swap. I only put down 163hp and 255ftlbs to the groud with this 95 TBI 5.7.

so its cause i have crappy tires that my axle lived? my tires would give before anything broke i guess. i once dumped the clutch at 6k into a 60 second long brakestand to waste a set of old tires and brakes. i preceded that one with a 30 second one. i have better tires on the way so i guess i have to take it easy until i buy a 9inch. thanks guys.

You can have a 9" rear end built for your F-Body any way you want it, this includes ABS and traction control if your car is setup for 4 channel. Check out the site below:

Back in 2000 this guy brought his brand new Firehawk out to the track that he had just bought that day with the only mod being Nitto DRs. Made it 2 runs, and then on the third run the 10 bolt exploded.
