Detroit locker
Anybody using a detroit locker on the street? I mean a true daily driver. How is it? A friend at work has one in his rear and said after a couple months it finally got broke in and quit chirping the inside tire on a turn, just curious, I'm about to have my 9" ready to go under the car.

Have you driven your friends car yet? is it a M6 car like yours or an auto?

Mine has only got about 1000 miles on it and it makes a "clank, clank, clank" sound when turning. The tighter the turn the more it clanks. It is getting quieter with time and more miles. People give me some really strange looks when I pull in or out of a parking place....lol. Do I dislike it? Hell no! I'm tired of replacing gear sets and posi units. My Detroit Locker is bullet proof and I never have to worry about one wheel pulling more than the other.
