Where to buy ford 9"
Where is there a good place to buy a ford 9"? DO they come complete? I need mine W/ backing plates installed, abs if possible. I figure if im spending over $2.5k for a rear, I want the best.
I wanted a strange 12-bolt w/posi,3.42. If both the 12-bolt & 9" have posi, wich one is stronger? Also - What is locker/soft locker? how is it on the street? Will my stock drive shaft mate up with the 9"?
Thank you for your help!

The 9" will be stronger than the 12-bolt.

Today a local speed shop told me that the 9" does not allign with the drive shaft right on our cars, and can cause problems.
anyone ever had a problem with the 9 -
I also was told the currie and mosure(sp?) are crap......
I have a currie in my 71, never had a problem.
Im in the market and dont want to get a 12 bolt because I have 3 center sections from my 71rsz. That cuts the price in half for a new 9".
2500 for a new 12 is making me feel sick.

Me again......
Funny how I was told moser rears are crap, and I read how billingsley is a grate rear and ........they use moser axels.....
And with a little more searching I find a f-body doing 1/4- 9.36 mph- 149.72
with a you guessed it a moser 9".
(well that’s what I read he was running)
I love good advice.
