1350 Pinion yoke
I am getting ready to replace my drive shaft w/ one that has 1350 u-bolts.
My question is: how do I tell if the pinion yoke that is on a 12-bolt KTRE rearend a 1350 or not?
Also, does the pinion yoke press on? Or does it just slide off?
Thanks

you can go to napa and get a u-joint part number 447 and see if the slightly larger (1350) side fits the KTRE. the stock and the 1350 are almost the same (you'd be suprised how close).
do you already have the KTRE? if not you can definatly order it on there when you order it.
pinion yoke's are splined, slid onto the pinion, and held on by a nut screwed on the end of the pinion. it is tightened to a very precise in/lbs and is critical for reducing gear whine and proper alignment.

Thanks for the insight. Yep, already have a KTRE. I bought the car with the KTRE already installed. Just trying to figure out exactly what I have. I've heard mixed reviews on the KTRE. Mostly bad, but I guess I'll see how it goes...
I need to buy a heavy duty driveshaft because I still have the stock aluminum driveshaft which is why I'm trying to verify the pinion yoke.
Thanks for the help
