Default Any one make a lighter than MW Center Section?

Looking at MW site, he has a 46lb center section. Obviously its for racing and not street use. I'm just thinking lighter for now....like later get a narrowed fabricated housing (seen MW, but would rather go JB on this), gundrilled axles with star flanges (seen them at MW site also), and then that ultra light center section is attractive. My Nod. Section is 87lbs (Damn that ***** heavy!) but at least I shouldnt be able to break anything in it.

That one I quoted you is the same one I built for PSJ. Shipping in a Moser plastice container was 63 lbs. total package weight.

Scott, would this be a little easier to run on street or like the MW strictly track use? I'm trying to find a compromise.

I wouldn't mind one bit since you are under 1000hp. Remember these cases are good for 1600-1800hp so they will take a pretty hard beating.
