Default Please help! Ring Gear Removal

I've sold the Zexel-Torsen out of my 10-bolt. The buy just wants the diff, and I don't want to pay the extra shipping for the weight of the ring gear. Trouble is, I can't get it off. What's the best way to get the bolts out of that bastard?

Back the bolts out a few threads and lightly tap on them with a mallet or hammer and wood block.

I use a punch inside the ring gear bolt holes after they are removed. Hammering on the bolts may damage the threads on the ring gear.

I forgot I posted this thread. I found out after using the impact that they're reverse thread. Once I switched direction on the impact they came out easy as could be. Thanks guys!
