Any regrets with 4.10's in an a4 daily driver?
I am wanting to get 4.10's in my a4 daily driver
and was wanting to know if any of you that have
put the same gears in your cars regret it? Also how
many tenths should the 4.10's knock off on my et?
Will i be around 2500 rpms around 60 mph with these
gears too?

at 2600 you will be at 70, i would definately not drive on the highway if you drive this car a lot, if its your race car weekend, its fine, helps take off but make sure the car is tuned for them or everything will be F'ed up. Since i got a tune and it went up to 6000 rpms rather than 5.6k im getting valve float and im getting the same times as my runs without em, once i get retune ill get better times

4.10's with an a4 is a fun combo. Now if you are a stock LT1, your car is shifting at like 5800 right?
Personally, I'd do 4.10's with higher shift points, like if you had a cam. Car will really start moving then.
For a stock LT1, I'd do headers, !cats, CAI, tuning, t-stat, and a 3200 converter...
Then cam/ heads, gears.

i have 4.10s
love them!
in an ls1
50 = 2000
60 = 2300
70 = 2700
80 = 3000
i just intalled a tci 3500 converter, and with it's lockup, my rpms are the same as before.
definitely go 4.10s
i daily drive mine all the time, don't regret it at all.
