Default Clunking only while turning

like the title says, i get clunking only while turning at low speeds. I read that this is fixed by changing the gear oil and adding in the Posi additive from a dealership. Is this correct? Could this also be a sign of the diff going out or is it more than likely just the lack of the additive in the gear oil?

What year, make, model is your vehicle?

If it came with a Torsen then it's on its' way out.

Add some posi additive or change the oil and put in some Ford additive, that stuff works the best for chatter.

I have had this issue with multiple camaros. There is a vent for the axle that gets plugged. Its above the fill hole to the left a little (if looking at the fill hole) on the top. There is a little plastic chimney/vent that gets pluged or falls off and the hole gets plugged. I would check this first.

I would also change the fluid soon after this too.
