Default 3.73s

Who has the best deals on some 3.73 gears? I was looking at Summitracing and it a 7.5/7.625 10 bolt Richmond gears, but I dont know what it means with the lower carrier and higher carrier because there is 2 different 3.73s.Any input would be a great help.thanks

check with Mosier or Strange on a new rear end.....building a 10 bolt is throwing away money, my car broke its 3.42's on STOCK POWER. If you go with a higher ratio you only make the rear weaker b/c the gear is smaller, hince less material to hold together. Last time it broke it was the spider gear and it went through the rear cover. I don't have the money for a 9" so i found a junk yard 10 bolt to get me by for $150. If you are going to spend the money on changing gears save up and get the bigger rear all together. Thats my opinion and it is backed up with 4 broken 10 bolts in 2 different Fbodies that I have owned.
