Default Cars with a4 and 4.10's Questions

I am in the process of going to 4.10's with the 4l60. I am also going to be running a yank ss4000 and shooting a 150 shot. I am looking for info from anyone running something like this, how do you like it, what tire are you running and what are your trap rpms. I don't want to run out of rpm and have to go into OD at the track. I am not concerned with highway driving it will be trailered to and from the track. My rev limiter is set at 7100 and I am hoping it will not run out of gear. Right now I am trapping at 126 @ 6200/6300 rpms.

4.10s @ 7000 with a stock size tire will be at ~130 mph in 3rd so you will be really close to toping hitting overdrive. And the gear change may help you pick up those mph so if I were you I'd stick with what you have IMO

Yeah, I've been reading the gear charts, I want to go to a 28" tire which should take care of it, I was just hoping to hear from someone running this combo or something close to see what their trap rpm was. It just feels like my cam needs the extra rpm in third, last year I was leaving about 6 to 800 rpms on the table.
