After doing some research I think I made up my mind to install a solid spacer instead of a new crush sleeve. Could anyone recommend me a kit to purchase. It is a 99 TA with a stock read end.

I used the Yukon kit in my 8.6 truck rearend. Takes a bit of trial & error adding/removing shims but it's worth the effort. Sure beats getting a hernia crushing regular sleeves. You can swap out seals and yokes without effect on the pinion preload.
