Diff Bearing kits, help quick!
My rearend is making some noises and it sounds like maybe the pinion bearing might be going on me. I was going to just buy a diff. bearing kit and replace them all. BCA/National makes a kit, but they have 2 different ones listed, 1st design and 2nd design. Does anyone know what the difference is? The part numbers are RA320 and RA320B. I see that SLP also has a kit, but I'd like to get it locally so I don't have the wait for shipping. Please help quick! Thanks. BTW, it's just for a stock 10 bolt in an 01 TA.

I would call and ask. There should not be any difference, a bearing kit will be the same for any 93-02 10 bolt rear end. I looked at both part numbers and one costs twice is much...is it perhaps because it uses a different brand name of bearings or includes new ring gear bolts/etc also?

**Update** I talked to Advance Auto and they didn't know what the difference was, so I bought the cheaper of the two, the RA320 kit. Everything fit great and the noise is gone. I also found out that Jegs has a Richmond bearing kit for about 90 bucks instead of this one from Advance for 127! Oh well . . . Next time (hopefully not)
