Default What tire size and offset for narrowed 12 bolt?

I'm looking into buy a narrowed 12 bolt that has been shortened 3" on each side. It has fit into a 4th gen lt1 car and has all the provisions for LCA's, TA Brakes ect. Right now I have a 15/8 welds with a 5.5 backspacing. If the rear end is narrowed 3" on each side, and I want to run a 10" rim, will a 15/10 with a 3.5 backspace be okay? I want this to go in with no cutting of anykind. Let know what you think. Thanks in advance.

15x10 with 5.5 backspace will tuck in about an inch with the rear narrowed 3in.

On a standard 10 bolt you will have a 7.5" back spacing on a Weld rim. If you housing is narrowed 3" per side then I would test fit a set with 4.5" of back spacing. Most tire places will only let you test fit the rim without a tire mounted.
