Question 9" bearing press order

I know it is probably a stupid question but I'm unclear on the order of which you press the bearing on th axle before installing it in the 9" rear end.

This is what came with the rear end:

The instructions mention the bearing with the o-ring side towards the wheel but the bearing is identical on both side. :

Anyway, which order from these pics below would be the correct one (If any)

1.

2.

3.

#1 wouldn't make any sense to me but I posted any possibility just in case.

#3 gets my vote, the seal (red) doesnt actually get pressed on the axle but pressed into the housing end then the axle can slide into it with the bearing & the steel sleeve pressed on

First off Moser doesn't use the bearings with the o ring anymore, so both sides of the bearing is now the same.

Take your axle and slide the bearing as far down as it goes, then slide the press ring on next. Now press everything on til it's flush.

The seal goes inside the housing, not on the axle. Get a large socket as close to the outside diameter of the seal as possible and tap it into the housing. The side with the spring goes inward.

Done!

Only thing missing is the brake backing plate. They go on before the bearing.

That's correct, and there IS a diff between the driver and passenger side.

Yep. They are not in the pics since I haven't got them off the existing rear end yet.
