new Moser 9"...shop says rear sway bar won't fit...
Just got off the phone with the shop putting in the Moser 9" and they are telling me that the rear sway bar won't fit right because it's rubbing against the rear. Anyone else run into this issue before? Anyone know of a way to correct for it to space it out a little? It's Hotchkis' aftermarket rear sway bar, so I don't know if that matters or not with the fitting issues.

Yeah, Bob said to use the 3" exhaust U-bolts, it even rubbed with them. Thanks for the idea about the washers though, I'll bring an assortment to the shop tomorrow and see if they can get it to work. I did stop at the shop on the way home from work to see what was exactly rubbing and it was the smallest area that it didn't look like it would have affected anything. I was glad to see the shop was cautious and that they looked out for every little thing like that.

tell the shop to lower the car so the suspension is loaded...it wont rub. or turn the mounts on the housing more towards the rear of the car to move the sway arm away from the rear.

I was thinking that loading the suspension might keep it from rubbing, so maybe I'll ask them to try it again while the suspension is loaded with the car on the drive-on lift and see if that fixes everything. Thanks for suggesting!
