Thumbs up This is what the SS should look like!

Sorry if this is a re-post, but I just saw this image for the first time. Up to this point I have thought the new design is just OK, but this rendering is dynamite (with realistic, subtle, do-able changes to the actual car)

I would definitely do a big block hood like that if I got a yellow one. The hockey puck on a yellow camaro just completely sets it off in my opinion. I doubt that there would be an Nickey Camaros but I seriously heard something about a possible Yenko. That would be sick. I found my new desktop background!!!

You must have been high when you heard that. Don Yenko is dead and Honda owns the Yenko name plate now.

As a matter of fact I was.. haha.. I did hear that they was a possibility of doing a specialty car. I thought that it was the Yenko but I guess not. There will be enough aftermarket companies that will cater to the nostalgic crowd I bet...

Actually, they are building "new" "Yenko Continuation" 1969 Camaros as we speak, so Don Yenko is dead, but the name is not. This "new Yenko" is very hotly debated though, since they have nothing to do with the original car. The current issue of Super Chevy features one of these cars.

But... Nickey is still around and would be capable of building this car.

Also, I'm sure Matt Murphy at GMMG has been working on something for the 2010 Camaros too.

I dont like the hood scoop. just a nice cowl would do. That hood scoop is like from the 60's vette. But the car looks good everywhere else.

I like that sig. I wrote that @ asr.smakugames.com. It use to be nk3.smakugames. It came from a piece of paper I found in a new Snap-On tool box this fella bought a couple of years ago. I have a pic of a graveyard above it.

That hood scoop style was cool about 15 years ago.

That's the L88 scoop, was big in the 70-80's. Cool looking. I think I've also seen it called the stinger.

The new Camaro will be a cool car to customize.

Well, that was the factory big block hood for the 1967 corvette (not just the L88's, but all big blocks that year got that hood.. iirc there were only like 20 L88's produced in 67), but that was the only year for that hood. The 68-69 vettes had a completely different big block hood.. And the L88's for those years also had a different distinct hood. I don't like that stinger hood on anything other than what it was MADE for- the 1967 corvette. It just looks wrong on anything else IMO
