SNEAK PEAK!!! 2009 Camaro Convertible Cruising on Woodward! Video first time ever!
LSX TV got the 2009 Camaro Convertible Crusing at the Woodward Dream Cruise for the first time ever driving.... got a full video including an interview with a Chevrolet Top Dog Ed Peper about plans for the '09 release and upcoming models..
Some highlights..
.. got video of it driving
.. the running prototype had a 400 hp LS2 from the 07 vette (no surprise)
.. vehicles will be available at some dealers by end of 08 (coupe), convertible at end of 09
.. car looked sweet with 22"'s on it.. was slammed.. ride height as perfect

I like hearing that it'll have at least 400HP. I REALLY hope I can get the top model coupe for under $35,000. If not, I'm going to buy whatever the 2009 Shelby GT500 is (as long as it has at least 500HP - I believe the 2008 GT500 will have 540HP for around $45K).

I am still getting use to the exhaust and back lights and I love the lack of leg room in the backseat, even the new maros back seats are just for show haha

I thought the Camaro looked a bit cartoon like in that vid, maybe it was the color though. Then again, I've never been partial to the 'vert either

There was video footage of a guy riding around in the new Camaro awhile ago.
It was for a photo shoot, and although speed limited to 40mph, they did get on it some.
This was on a private track though.
This is certainly not the first footage of the new Camaro, interior and exterior and what it looks/feels like, but good post.

IMHO.. I don't think I can see myself driving that. Not only because I can't afford it. I just don't know if I like it or not? Not saying the LS2 isn't a badass motor, or that Camaro isn't a badass car, I drive one haha. To me though it just doesn't seem like the original muscle car? Yes, I know it is a modern car, but im just not sure about it. But I LOVE the dash! I'm not trying to be a smartass or make anyone mad.
