fast or 410s
im getting the itch to do something to the 2002 ss. it makes 425 rwhp a4 stalled ss3600. its a sunday driver. maybe i could get 20 rwhp with fast 102. car now has 3.23s. if i did a new rear with 410s do you think i would gain more 1/4 mile time with the 410s or the fast.

I would up the stall speed further before I would consider 4.10s for an A4.
Get the intake, IMO.

Only reason to change them is if you want that extra tenth or so for a track car, or if you're one of the people that is easily bothered by the "looseness" of your stall with stock gears during street driving.

Let me speak from actual experience with a sallied auto and 4.10s in a stock 10 bolt. I went from 3.23s to 3.90s then for shots and gigs I swapped in some 4.10s. Now my car already has an SS4000. I pretty much could do zero highway racing with those gears and at the drag strip I couldn't hook at all on the Hoosiers until the last pass when I pulled the fr
