To roll bar or not to roll bar?
The car is a dd for Dad that we built to race too. Now it's too fast to run without a roll bar. I don't know whether to slow the car down or put a roll bar in. I'm also unsure of how much weight it will add but it seems like it would be a hassle for my 62 yr old Dad to deal with regularly.

Well, I am a 63yo and have a Wolf 6 pt with swing out's in my car.
The side bars are easily removed by simply removing the hinge pin.
As far as safety goes for a street car, I have the bar heavily padded.
Now I know full well in the event of a serious crash, that padding will be of little help in protecting my head.
But it is something that I have accepted for the past 9 year's because I don't want to be limited when I go to the track to an 11.50 or slower time.
Call me stupid?
