I went to look at the car just for the hell of it. It sure is beautiful and I'd love to have it...but not anywhere near that price. They've been listing it on CL for quite some time for $140K. I doubt they'll get anywhere near that price.

There was a car like that at the LSX Shoot-Out, Wicked fast.
That's a nice car but not at that price.
Here's a low mile creampuff not 650hp but not $75,000 reserve not met either.

I love the way these car owners get high on Molly and make up ridiculous prices. LoL 140K?
You easily buy for yourself ZR1 and Lexus 250 to shut your wife up in the process for 140k BRAND NEW!! Just wow!

For those that don't know, this is a GMMG Blackbird car. There was only 112 or so of these made in 2001-2002. I've never seen one in a Phase 5/680hp package though, Im not sure if that's a correct GMMG Package or not (I believe it'd be a C5R motor if it was). Most blackbird cars were the 380hp package.
All and all, what it boils down to is, there is not many blackbirds to begin with and this one is probably the only one (if not 1 of only a few) every built with this package. THAT's why they're asking so much for this car. Of course, something is only worth what people will pay for it.
Like others said, Maybe in 25+ years.

i'd rather get myself a DD from a stealership, get a ws6 with no tranny, no differential nothing.. just pure body, get all parts nothing STOCK.
and have another one that's the same color same rims same ride height just to make a fool out of every1 as soon as the built one get's known LOL.
true it's VERY RARE but all in all where i live all trans am's are rare in the first place.
maybe in... 35+ years. lol
