currently running LT, ORY, hollowed out cats with a 18" sweet thunder chambered/bullet muffler and thats it. Had hopes that the sweet thunder would quiet the exhaust sound but it didn’t really, only changed the tone. still loud as hell. So I was thinking about installing a dynomax ultra flo muffler where the factory muffler location is (currently none there just a "Y" split). Just curious if running another muffler would be more of a hindrance/pointless or not?

Yeah that will work really good, just make sure to go with a oval muffler.
BTW, Magnaflows are also a good option, and are priced about the same.

i went with dynomax 17536 and it sounds pretty good. i didnt get a vid of it yet. i have a vid of the straight pipe setup and with the sweet thunder muffler installed. will try and get a vid with the dynomax installed too.

Good choice, that's probably the best flowing stock configured 3" inlet mufflers, since most only offer 2.5" dual outlets.
