I really like the C6s too but they are a bit gadgety, especially the higher trim level ones, so in that way I prefer the F-body. A 1LT trim level C6/LS3/6L80E would be pretty desirable to me though.

Having said that, if you have found the car you want and plan to buy, then I wouldn't wait another month unless you absolutely have to financially. Waiting has caused me to lose a few cars that I wish I hadn't, so when you find "the one", make a move quick IMO.

Good call I think, I been torn between getting a C6 or keeping my WS6 for months. There are so many nice deals on C6's out there right now. There are even Z06's in the mid 30's...

Corvettes are a whole 'nother world compared to F-bodies. F-bodies are simple, and in many ways, not to distant from their classic forebears. A friend has had a couple of Z06's and took me on a tour of the shop manual once. Wow. They're a much more complex engineering effort.

100% agree.

When I was shopping around for an LS1 powered car I came upon a few that I really liked, but decided to wait and see what else would come around. Everything I had my eyes on were always sold within a few weeks of me discovering them. When I came across the CETA, I knew it was what I wanted, so I took the plunge, and bought it.

If you have the funds now; I would definitely buy it.
