am I not over 500whp? on3 76mm 5.3 @14psi been searching for a 5.3 stock with a 76mm dynos but not able to find one that makes 550-600whp. looking to see at what boost they made that power.
car is basically stock 5.3 with 76mm
maxed out 60# on e85 at 14psi.
or 80% idc with 91oct. at 14psi
id like to limit my hp to around 550whp and keep it around there due to the 5.3 being stock and my clutch is only rated 550tq.
im still in the middle of tuning and building so i dont want to hit the dyno with a car that isnt fully ready. (i would end up redynoing again = waste of money)
my current predicament is I feel like its not making 500whp at 14psi (i can usually guestimate but ive been riding the r1 a lot so it screwed up my butt dyno.-hint it feels slow.)
so my question is do you guys think im at my goal or not yet? or if you know a post with 76mm 5.3 please link it.
ive maxed out my injectors and looking at purchasing a 80#to bring the boost to 20psi as i feel like its not there yet. but if im there already no point in upgrading. i might as well switch back to 91.
my current worry is upgrading the injectors and upping the boost because i feel like its not there, id hate to go way over and blow stuff up.
just looking for a guestimate so i can decide if 80# are needed upgrade or switch back to 91 and keep 60#
