Default 1/0 Wire from Alternator to Fuse block?

Anyone run a 1/0 wire from the back of the Alternator to the underhood fuse block? Want make sure all the accessories are getting max voltage. I saw ZZP sells an upgrade like this for the Grand Prix.

I would venture to say that 4GA or 2GA would be plenty sufficient, but 1/0 will definitely carry it. You can also save some money by buying some stranded welding cable and terminals, then crimp and solder them on yourself. You just need a torch, rosin core solder, bench vise, hammer, punch, heat shrink, and tin shears or bolt cutters.
