Default Wrecked it, 02 z/28 (PICS)

lexus is300 made a unprotected left in fron of me As i was approaching the intersection, I was doing 45 (the limit), saw them ,locked up the brakes, and tried to swing left to avoid them. they just stopped right in my way, by the time I hit I was completely sideways. I had a passenger as well as the other car did, my passenger suffered from cuts on the head from cd's and broken glass, luckily everyone walked away from it. impact was so hard it ripped my amp form the carped and i found the cd changer in my back seat, cd's were thrown over 200ft from car. here's pics

think it's totalled?

she's totalled i'd say. It's fixeable but it's pretty bad. May have swayed the uni-body frame but i can't say for sure. Too bad though. They may try and save it but right there your looking at about $7-$9K to fix. May still fix it though. Just make sure the shop is good.

That sucks man. If there is any real frame damage, they may total it, but I don't know. I hope you get it running again, or at least find a different whip if they do end up totaling it out.

Damn, that sucks man, it looks like a really nice car. Unfortunately, a quarter panel hit is tough to repair properly. Good luck in getting it resolved!

That sucks. I had an idiot blow through a stop sign and pull directly in front of me the other day, but I was able to hammer the brakes and miss him, fortunately I was going about 5 or so under at the time due to glare from the sun, otherwise it would have been real close(inches, not the few feet it was).

BTW, I assume "locked up the brakes" was just an expression, otherwise you'd not have been able to swerve at all, and your ABS would not have been functioning...

To my eyes the car is not totalled, however, getting hit in the wheel area is a positive/negative. It certainly saved you some body and frame damage, but your rear end is no doubt misaligned and you likely have some rear suspension damage as well. Probably 50/50 that its totalled. Good luck, and don't settle with the insurance if you're not happy.

that sucks. honestly i would fight for them to total it and give you replacement value. looks to far gone for me to feel safe driving. plus it will show up on carfax, and kill your resale value. Just my .02 though

Hope to God they total it. They're never right after **** like this. It'll always pull at least a tiny hair, squeaks, rattles, quirks, etc.

Sucks bad man. ****'n Lexus guy probably didn't know how much you loved her. Probably can't understand it.

Damn that really sucks, and i am sorry to say but to me she looks like the insurance company will total it. Anything is fixable but that's going to be allot of money to fix which is what will probably make them total it.
Ether way i wish you the best of luck.
