why is it that..... Because my car is a sleek beek (non WS6) and an a4, people look at me as if i wasted my money? I just got stationed in ND and i saw a few guys with Z28 so i walked over and introduced myself , checked out their rides and then when i told them what i had a few guys laughed. WTF, one guy with LT's, ory, and a lid said he would destroy me with a half car head start. I mean damn i know lt add a little power but wtf....

I betcha they are the typical "nut swingers" if you go and get a stall,headers,true dual's or Y pipe and any other mods(cam,heads,nitrous or whatever) with a tune he will be all over your sack also and you will get tired of his lips always being pressed up on your *** cheek's!

DUDE, i used to get this all the time!!! i would go into an auto parts store and ask for something for the T/A and they would usually say something like, "wow thats a nice car, is it a ram air?" I of course would say "No", and then the usual response was "O, so its not as fast..."
That just tells you something about the styling of the T/A with ram air. Its soo bad ***, and GM did such a good job, that people think that its considerably faster then that same car just without the hood! Only because it looks faster.
People hate on the sleek beak its a proven fact time and time again. Its gayness, but its life...

i am all the time hearing "well you got some wheels, now you need to make it look like a RAM AIR" i am like ITS A WS6, the hood is the RAM AIR part. and they are always responding with "oh...yeah"

Stupid people are to blame...
Also blame GM for falsely advertising the "Ram Air" Package as boosting power by 20 horses. People tend to be sheep and believe everything they are told.

just sounds like a dick to me, when i see an LT1 i usually pay no attention because not very many "racers" own them usually just some one who stumbled on it. but i do know when someone tells me they have an LT1 and i know they got the mod bug i don't underestimate. the guy is a douchbag just buy a stall,LTs,manifold,and 150 shot and you will keep him quiet for a good amount of time lol
