bone stock 1/8 mi times
what is the expected time on an 1/8 for a stock ls1 here at the local 2 tracks I see alot of stock cars running and the times are pretty spread i saw a SS run a 9.2 9.1 8.95 and then with a driver swap i saw a 8.65. my friend was at the track the night i saw that car and his mustang runs a 9.0 and his memory seems to be foggy as to the 8.65 and he thinks his car is faster than a stock ls1. most cars arent stock so i dont go ask every ls1 car driver that i see run is that car stock? i really want to shut his mouth its annoying. damn mustang owners.

Mine ran 9.5 bone stock. I have an a4 with 2.73's. Did my mods listed below and play with tire pressure I can squeeze an 8.8 out of her now. Gonna do LT's and high flow cats, hoping to see 8.5 to 8.6 range without a problem. Would put gears in her but I love 28 MPG on the highway. And doesn't matter mustang he runs if its stock unless it's a Cobra of course LS1 will smoke it.

My current m6 when stock went 8.40s in the 1/8th.
My previous a4 car went 8.72 the first time down the track, as well as my first time ever at the track. After some practice it started going 8.60s or so that night, and before summers end I was in the 8.4-8.5 range. It had one FREAK pass that fall where it somehow 60ft'd a 1.75, and went 8.16! I was blown away!

in my 03 GT 2v i ran an 8.7 stock (quickest) and my buddy ran the same in his 99 GT 2v....i saw an ls1 camaro (guessing it was stock by the sound and look) that ran 8.4s on a 70+/- degree night. came back the next week with exhaust and was pullin low 8s. i think with a good driver an 8.3 is possible but realistically 8.4-8.7 stock. mustangs should be high 8s or low 9s.
