Does yours hit in 2nd 4th and 6th? I'm sick of this and I should have went with the 6.5" I wanna know if its just me or what because mine clearly hits even with the stock ****

Had it on my 02 z28 for about 4 months, no problems doesnt hit anything... cant beat it for the price.

Do you still have the stock shifter? I've heard that it will hit if you don't have a Hurst or after market shifter. I have a 6.5" on the Hurst in my car and it doesn't hit anywhere.

What exactly do you mean by hit? As in feel tight when going into gear or grinding? Im not sure i follow

I had it with the stock shifter and it hit, it serves its purpose for how cheap it is, then I got the pro 5.0 and tried it with that and did not like the shift pattern at all where 3rd used to be it was now 1st so I took it off cut the pro 5.0 stick down to 6.5in and it works perfect now.

Meaning that shifting into the even gears will cause the stick to smack against the lower console.

I have had mine for a year and a half and it doesn't hit. But i do have the slp short throw shifter

Yeah, if you have a non-Hurst shifter it will hit your console. I'd look through the Parts Classifieds and see if maybe somebody swapped out there factory Hurst for a Pro 5.0 or something and pick up a factory Hurst cheap. I have the 6.5" stick on my factory Hurst and love it.

I believe i have a stock shifter (has a leather ball instead of the hurst shifter handle) with the 6" ws6 store stick and havent had it hit anywhere on the console

Have you looked at the shifter inside the boot? Ur the first to say that that has a stock shifter on
