Don't let him fool you with the 35th anniversary edition, I believe all '02's are 35th ann'y edition, not to be confused with the special edition or collectors edition or whatever they call it with the stripes. Trust me, my 02 z28 has the 35th dash plaque as do all 02's I've seen.

anyway, I was expecting lower mileage for that price, but hell it is a manual which I think is a little harder to find. Put it this way though, in '05, my '02 with 49k miles m6 Convertible Z28 was 16 grand. Though that was a good deal, and the car wasn't quite perfect, but what the hell, that car has 60xxx whatever miles its not gonna be perfect either.

i just bought an 02 ss fully loaded -12 disc changer with 20,300 miles for 17,900. the guy also gave me a strut tower brace, slp air lid, smooth bellows, skip shift eliminator and custom car cover all still new in the box (minus the cover) for "free", free meaning after i gave him almost 18k for the car. so yea, i think he is asking a bit much, but if it is exactly what you want and you are happy with it, then go for it.

A great looking car but the miles are way too high for that price. I wouldn't pay more than $15,X00 for that car and I live in CT where everything costs a million times more than anywhere else in the country.
If the miles were in the 20-30k range I'd negotiate.

even in our overpriced market, that car is overpriced.
