Dont know what to do
I am torn wether to mod the 98 Trans Am I bought or sell it and buy a modded LS1 car..................
When I started looking for another LS1 I really wanted a heads/cam/stall car but also kept my options open for a nice WS6
What I bought-
1998 Artic white WS6 A4, clean and clear title and carfax
the car has 28,000 on it and other than a new battery and a new paper filter it is 100% stock right down to the single outlet exhaust
2 owners before me, the 1st owner was a middle aged female and the 2nd owner was a man in his 60s, its never seen a dragstrip
It is a very nice car, always kept indoors, never seen snow, some minor spider webbing on the back bumper but its clean, no rust, no dents, no dings, perfect grey leather interior w pwr lumbar, single cd Monsoon ect
The car runs and drives 100% and needs nothing
Now if you were me would you heads/cam/intake/exhaust/stall it or sell it and get a nice modded Ls1
Also what do you think its worth?
Thanks for the advice!

do not sell the car, it has deff. been taken care of it sounds like, especially wiht those low miles, in my opinion i would keep it and mod it urself, it feels better to know tht u did the modding, and arent buying someone else's work

Don't buy something someone has already put heads/cam in. You know it's been run pretty hard! Your car has been babied. I would mod that thing. Don't buy someone else's problems. If your going to buy a modded car, buy one with bolt ons only. You don't know who has installed what cam or ported what heads, etc. If I was you I would keep that car!!

good advice guys
If I mod it it wont be until next spring (my budget is tapped for this season)
If I keep it stock I will keep it 100% stock as much as I dont like the single outlet exhaust
I do like the idea of buying a cheap LS1 and modding the hell out of it
This car isnt my DD btw I already have one of those and yeah it is garage kept and covered 99% of the time

Dont mod it, just change the exhaust to a dual outlet and leave it at that, it is getting harder and harder to find a ls1 car that hasn't had the **** raped out of it, or modded to death... just my 0.2 cents

that's the point, it's a treat being able to find a completely stock ls1 because you get the joy of modding the **** out of it! Dont waste a perfect LS1 by not modding it
