Doesnt hurt to call, and try setting up an appointment to test drive the car, and inspect everything. Sounds too good to be true, but you truely never know.

I was curious if individuals can sign up for 800 numbers with extensions through your phone company. If you google that 800 number you can see different names selling cars in South Carolina, Utah, California and in that case Texas. The extentions are all different and the names are different as well but the 800 number itself is the same and they are all individuals selling different cars. That number only shows links to used cars being sold.

It might not mean anything but I just thought it was interesting.

It might be a typo. Could have been going for $29,000. I've seen it happen with an ad for a Viper once.

looks like a scam to me, that should either have a 1 in front of the 23,000 miles or a 1 in front of the $2900 for it to be true. good luck but buyer beware

sounds like a scam if they are all using the same number. Probably going to try and get you to send them money then they will ship the car.

now way, that's a scam... too good to be true. If he needs to sell fast just put it up on ebay for like 3 days or so and the price will be somewhere in 14 or more thousand

this was his email now it really looks like a scam lol

Hi there,

I must apologize for the delay in response, but I'm literally overwhelmed by the number of offers.
I have recently relocated to Salerno, Italy.
The car is here as well. I can and will arrange transportation to US for FREE at your home address and full insurance during shipping!!!
As you probably noticed, the price is rather low.
But since it's a US registered vehicle, will cost me a fortune to register here so i decided to sell it back in US.
Genuine reason for sale: the registration of the car here will cost me up to $5,000.00
Due to amount involved, I only accept third party protection offered by the shipping company.
The car is in excellent condition, clear title, the engine is immaculate, no leaks, no accidents, no dents or hidden defects. I have uploaded some info and pictures with the car here: http://www.geocities.com/pryorvic/pontiac/firebird.html
I am willing to let the car go for $2,900.00
