Why are people running out to check this??? As previously stated in several posts, both spellings are correct.

No sir.

It's even spelled that way in your manual in the contents and the pictures show it spelled that way as well.

Question Something fruity

Well there is something fruity going on here because I always thought a gage was a fruit. However, my dodge thinks it is a meter or something of that sort.

I think the something fruity is bringing back a 6 year old thread as your first post, contributing no useful information, and using a purple somewhat hard to read font while doing so.

Our cars were made at the St. Therese plant, outside Montreal Quebec, Canada, not Oshawa, for the sake of accuracy...

Most words in Canada are spelled in the British way, ie colour, neighbour, etc. So regarding the spelling of the word "gages", this is a GM thing, as my Envoy (made in Ohio, I think) and my Caprice. (made in Texas ) BOTH had this spelling as well...

I wonder if they have a "headlite" switch too? I noticed that "check gages" about my 97 Camaro and it's the same on my 00 Camaro. Hadn't noticed on my 04 GMC Safari, but I'll look the next time I drive it. Maybe gauge is too tuff to spell.
