Read the sticky by chocotaco and have fun. I did it on my 99 twice with very little smoke. Then I did it on my 91 and it smoked for miles around the neighborhood. It was a fun afternoon.

I tried doing this, but my car won't even start with the brake booster line disconnected. And if I disconnect it while it's running, it instantly dies. Any advice on this?

I just did my accord last night. I unplugged the vacuum hose and tried to start it and it wouldn't start, so I plugged it back in and it still wouldn't start. Waited about 5 min, tried again and it started. So this time while it was running I took off the vacuum hose from the brake booster and it finally stayed running but revved higher just like chacotaco said it would, maybe give it another shot?

How's this one?

And yes, there is a person standing there
The Camry smoked so much to the point that you couldn't stand or see in the driveway.. The smoked carried on down the block too! Someone came down the block and stopped in the middle of the road, looking around like "Wtf?!"

But yes, search seafoam and read chocotaco's write up. it's all you need to know

Same thing happened to me, you need to pinch off the brake booster line so only a small amount of air can pass through. Use vice grips with something to pad the jaws so they don't damage the booster line. Then play around with how much you can open them without causing the engine to stall. Have fun!

Certainly change the plugs! After you are all done. No 'prolly'.

Word of advice, do everything at once. Do the seafoam in oil crankcase, gas tank and vacuum hose at the same time. After everything is done change your fuel filter, and maybe your spark plugs.

I had trouble keeping my car running so what I did was fill a spray paint cap with the seafoam, held my thumb over the brake booster hose, then placed the line in the cap and slightly moved my thumb to suck in the seafoam. Worked like a charm

you guys can also put a straw on the booster hose or pcv hose and let the engine drink it out the can

I tried it the next morning and it worked fine. I just had to help it a little by giving a tiny bit of gas as I started it.
