loud squealing noise
Hi,
I have been dealing with this problem for sometime now. I have a louf squealing noise throughout all rpms. I thought it was the belt so I changed that. That was of no help. I have just changed the tension pulley and that still did not help. The noise is coming from the drivers side. About a year ago I replaced then water pump and when I was putting the idler pully back on the dust cover got warped. Could this be the problem? Also there is a strong possiblity that the alternator pulley could be the problem to all of this.
How do I go about removing that pulley?
Thanks everyone!

warped dust shield could definitely be the problem, id remove the shield first and see if that doesnt solve it. the pulley closest to the alternator comes off by itself with just a 15mm IIRC. remove the belt and go at it with a ratchet from underneath, 5 mins tops
edit: when you get the pulley off, do THIS
