alternator not charging Ok I did searches and couldn't find anything on this,
My alternator went out on my 2001 z28 (or I thought it did I didn't get it checked before buying a new one) I replaced it and the new one isn't charging, Iv had some electrical problems lately (blowing the pwr accy fuse #7 found that one of my fog lights was shorting out and blowing every time I remotely lock or un lock the doors think I fixed it tho) so with the new alternator not charging I looked for a blown fuse and found there's now power from the the PCM to the alternator (the small red wire that goes into the alt to power the fields)
Whay would there be no power to my field wire?
