Default Flushing AC System?

Guys, I will be replacing my AC comp in the TA (95) over the holidays and I have a quick question about flushing the AC lines in this car? I have done the AC on my wifes suburban (2002) and it's really not hard, as on that car I flushed, pulled a vac and then recharged with my guages and works like new. The quesion I have is on this 95' there is an TEV (thermal expansion valve) instead of the orifice tube and it's not leaking or sticking so I will be keeping it (compressor hasn't contaminated the system just leaking out the front seal), can I pull the dryer/accum and flush thru the TEV to get the Evap flushed out as well - so I don't have to pull the TEV? Removing the TEV is a real pain on the LT1 setup, so I don't want to if I don't have too? Also, any tips on getting the compressor out?

I don't see why you couldn't, with the system open the valve should be wide open because it is regulated by how cold the evap outlet is. the warmer it is the wider it opens.
