Hey,

My 01 Grand Prix has started randomly shifting a little hard. Sometimes it happens just when cold. Sometimes mid temp range, and sometimes once the engine is at normal operating temp. And once it starts the harder shifting, the transmission or engine starts making a humming sound that varies with engine speed. If I shift into park and give a quick rev, I can hear it. Any ideas? Maybe the torque converter is starting to go?
