Hard brake pedal after car sits awhile.....
I've had this problem ever since i bought the car but cannot figure it out. I'm pretty sure it has to do with my "vacuum leak" i supposedly have. (in the winter, the car revs up on its own and then dies unless you give it gas, continues to do this until it warms up).
But anyway, when i get into my car after i'd say at least a few hours, the brake pedal is hard as a rock. Normally it isn't this way until you pump the pedal a few times. I don't touch the pedal and it is this way. The car also acts funny before the car warms up, even in the summer time. It just seems like it's choking for air and the exhaust sounds "airy" until i give it quite a bit of throttle. I know i've started ranting alot but i would really like to figure out this problem before winter hits again. I took it to a shop and they hooked up a smoke machine to it to check for leaks, but couldn't really find anything really obvious as there was a little smoke coming out from about everywhere it seemed. Thoughts? Did i not explain it good enough?

Yeah. Car is not throwing any codes, and he couldn't find anything obvious that was sticking out.
Also, somehow one of the bolts on my exhaust clamp is stripped. It just spins when i try to tighten it and loosen it. How the heck can i get it off? I only have one tight bolt on that side now.

None of my calipers are getting stuck. Everything moves freely. As far as the booster, i replaced it awhile back thinking it might be part of this problem. Didn't change anything. Not sure where to go from here...
