Replacement of air check valves
Ok, regarding the check valve thingy next to the dipstick:
When looking towards the windshield,
which direction do I turn the valve to unscrew it?
Righty-tighty depends on which direction you're looking at it.
Also, what could be causing these things to keep on failing. Had to change this one twice already in 5 months.

Don't remove it like that (it is too tight)...
undo the clip holding the hose on the valve (slide it back on the hose), then remove the two bolts holding the tube to the manifold, then pull out the valve/tube combination;
now, you can use two large wrenches to undo the tube nut from the valve.
[ lefty-loosely always when viewing from behind the nut, unless the nut has notches cut in it ]
