Default Steering wheel vibration upon acceleration

Hey guys.. I just recently had my tranny pulled, rebuilt and then reinstalled. I got the car back today and noticed that my steering wheel was vibrating while accelerating from a complete stop. The vibrating was enough to shake my hands while driving... You guys think it has anything to do with the transmission?? Before the rebuild I never had this problem.

Is there anything else shaking in the car? I'd do the obvious visual checks first. Bushings, ensure all nuts and bolts are tight, inspect the steering column from the firewall to the rack etc. Maybe the tires need rotating now from alignment issues.

My vibrations i think are coming from the tranny. When im sottin in park and bring the r's up it vibrates but the car shifts and drives fine just has vibrations? ???

Driveshaft could be out of balance.

Any1 encountered this problem before? It has to be in my tranny/convertor in order for it to have these vibrations while in park

Check your motor mounts. If they flexed them hard after pulling the trans which is most likely the case the motor could be vibrating enough to upset the steering rack. At least that's my theory

Did they put in a new trans mount? If they did could be your old one was worn out and the new one is transmitting vibration to the steering column.
