HELP - Door handle does nothing
the driver exterior door handle does nothing
it pulls up and down as though the door is locked, (which it wasnt)
i can open the door by pulling the handle inside and it operates just fine.
but the exterior doesnt release the latch to open the door
i looked for a write up but am unable to locate one,
any help suggestions etc would be greatly appreciated.
thanks in advance

To replace: basically take the interior trim off, replace part, put trim back on. Super easy. Look around in the car audio section if you need a writeup for removing the interior door trim.
One tip: place the new plastic clip in the hole in the handle, then put the rod in the hole. Don't try putting the clip on the rod first. You'll understand when you're looking at it.

Had the exact same problem I went to an Ace hardware and got a metal clip that goes on the end of the rod.
One of the ones that have teeth, push on one way but doesn't come off the other. I can't remember the name but works great and no more plastic **** to fail.
