So i changed the AIR gasket on the passenger side when i changed the spark plugs. I just fired up the camaro and let it get up to operating temp and noticed smoke coming off of the gasket itself. I figured this was normal since it was the first time it got up to oper.temp and its new so i hope i am not the only person to have a new gasket smoke like this.

Did you use any WD40 to get the bolts off?

Mine did the same but I removed for the same reason you did but the gasket looked fine so I reused it. It smoked for a few miles but that went away of it still smoking after one full tank of gas aprox 200 miles you might have an issue

yea i used wd-40...I am sure thats all it is. I changed the plugs over the winter when the car has been in storage.

Then it is the WD40 that is burning off, sorta like when you get oil on your headers or on the the motor, it will smoke a little bit as it burns off. shouldnt be concerned about it
