Default Power Steering Leak, High Pressure or pump?

I was under the car and saw the steering rack was pretty caked with oil.
I cleaned it all up and had my dad turn it to full lock and the oil is coming from up top and the high pressure hose torques to the passenger side at full lock. It does slightly leak from the cap on the reservoir but i bet its the old fluid and crappy PS cooler. So i plan on doing the PS cooler.
Anyways, at full lock oil runs down the high pressure hose and also down the back side of the alternator. I cant see from the top or the bottom where its coming from, at least without taking out my alternator. Im thinking i should try replacing that high pressure hose and see it that stops it...but im not sure, maybe the pump seal is bad too? is there a simple way to check this?
