Default broke my shifter cable

In the removeal of my 4l60e my shifter cable got snagged and broke. I found the part numberfor a new one how do i replace the shifter cable? Can i do it from the bottom or do i have to remove the center console? Or if there is a how to that i missed somewhere. Thanks

You will have to remove the console to install it, then feed it through the hole and make sure to use the rubber grommet. Also, make sure you adjust it correctly for gear selection.
