harmonic balancer bad ? I just replaced my power steering pump and alternator . Now I get this loud squeal on start up . After 3 miles of driving it goes away . It sounds like it's coming from the harmonic balancer .

I don't remember if it was there before . I " eye balled " the alignment and it looked straight . How do I check the ac tensioner ?

Squealing can be the cause of many things. Watch the balancer with the engine running and look for any wobble. You could have an idler going bad (you have 2 if you have AC).
