Default A/C System Question

I just bought a 98 Formula and the PO had removed the compressor and lines b/c the clutch was making noise. So the system has been sitting open for probably 2-4 years. I know the drier/lines all have to be replaced. What I can't remember is do I have to replace the condenser and evaporator as well? Is this going to be a whole system replacement, or are some parts salvageable even though it was exposed for quite some time?

the evaporator you just flush, you don't replace those unless they are leaking because they are behind the firewall & dash.
the condenser- if they put any kind of cap over the inlet/outlet to it then you might get away with reusing it. but if it was left open then any kind of dust/dirt/bugs can get in there and it's not worth it to flush. a condenser is not expensive so either way i would just get a new one for piece of mind. reuse the compressor, drain the old oil out of it.

The evap was the big one, I really didn't want to rip a dash out lol. The compressor, I was told, was quite noisy, so it would need a new one. I spun the pulley and it did sing to me lol.

I'd replace everything under the hood and flush the lines at the firewall. They have pressurized AC line flush available at auto parts stores.
